The Europe Class will be on stand G10 at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show this year, just to the right of the main stage. We will be exhibiting "Puff the Magic Dragon" which is a well looked after classic John Claridge built wooden boat. Also on display will be a top spec modern Winner built hull.

The class is looking forward to an exciting year in 2011. Our open meeting programme runs from April to September so far, and should suit everyone with a mixture of sea, large and small inland venues that range from Scotland to the south coast of England.

We start at Cotswold SC on 26 March, followed by Weston on 21 and 22 May, The Inlands will be held at Grafham on 9 and 10 July. The Nationals are at Largo Bay on the Firth of Forth on 27 and 28 August, followed by the Scottish championships the following weekend at Loch Lomond (3 and 4 September).

Europes have already been in action at the Grafham Grand Prix and the Bloody Mary in 2011, so it’s time to get out your Europe and join in with one of the friendliest and most fun classes in the country. For those who don’t sail there is always a happy support crew on the shore. We’ll also run at least one training event.

To find out more about Europe sailing come and see us on 5th/6th March or check out our website at europeclass.org.uk
