Decision to be made on Tiger Trophy at midday Friday

by Bruce Bonar 5 Feb 2009 15:17 GMT 7-8 February 2009

In view of the current weather and the detiorating weather forecast a decision will be made at Midday on Friday 6 February as to whether The Tiger Trophy will take place this weekend. We have considered all the issues caused by the weather forecast for the weekend (issues of people traveling to the event, issues of safety around the site with ice and snow everywhere and the temperature and snow forecast).

The organising team will be meeting on Friday morning and will make a final decision then based on the forecast and advice from road agencies etc. If the decision is made to cancel the event we will contact all entrants by e mail and post the info on the Tiger Trophy Website and the RSC website.

We would urge you to check the Tiger Trophy website or the Rutland Sailing Club website for more information. Alternatively you can contact the club office on 01780 720292 from midday on Friday 6 Feb.
