Jonas Warrer & Martin Kirketerp Ibsen have finished 7th in the borrowed boat. I think this is gold for Denmark is the most dramatic fashion. This would give gold to Denmark, silver to Spain and bronze to Germany.

They're heading towards the windward mark - it's windy out in Fushan Bay but the rain has cleared. Ben has a good lead over Zach - I can't tell where they are compared to the rest of the fleet. It looks like Ben may have overstood the windward mark on the starboard layline.

I think they may be moving the course area - they're all sailing off on port tack. I haven't seen the yellow and black L flag on the committee but it's hard to see anything in these monsoon conditions!

The postponement flag is down and the 5 minute gun has gone - game on! Ben Ainslie has a 12 point lead over American Zach Railey. It's monsoon conditions in Fushan Bay.

Dutch windsurfer Casper Bouman has won race 7 - he's clearly the high wind expert winning both races today but had all his results in the twenties in the light stuff. Nick Dempsey finished 17th.

There has been a change of wind direction out on the bay - the Star race is postponed.

Penny Clark has rounded the leeward mark in 9th. She gained 8 places down the run - flying!

Paul Goodison has come back from an indifferent start to finish 7th. The great news is that this puts him in the lead overall again!

Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb & Pippa Wilson have gone straight to their coach Paul Brotherton to celebrate. They're all smiles even if the weather is atrocious. Paul is now towing the winning team in to the harbour. Next up on Course A - the Finn medal race.

It's gold for Great Britain! Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb & Pippa Wilson have crossed the finish in first place in the medal race! That's just fantastic!

There's a big jam at the windward mark - a couple of teams hit and the Dutch round cleanly just over a minute behind the Brits. It's up to 25 knots now!

The Germans have overtaken the Brits, but it just doesn't matter to Sarah, Sarah & Pippa. These two boats have a huge lead over the chasing pack which includes the Dutch. It's the sprint run to the finish left.

6:25 - RS:X - Race 6 Finish

Elsewhere on Fushan Bay, the RS:Xs have held race 6 - Nick Dempsey came 7th in the men, Bryony Shaw came 6th in the women.

6:21 - Yngling - Medal Race Update

The British team of Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb & Pippa Wilson have held the lead around the leeward mark. The Dutch team of Mandy Mulder, Annemieke Bes & Merel Witteveen are in sixth. The German team have closed in on the Brits but they're not concerned - they're just covering the same way the Dutch go. It's a straight match race in their eyes.

6:16 - Yngling - Medal Race Update

The Brits seem to have pulled out a small lead on the pack at the windward mark. The visibility is awful but the wind really is up! We haven't seen conditions like this yet. The great news is (from a British perspective) that the Dutch aren't in the top five.

Good morning! The news for Qingdao is that the Yngling medal race has started 5 minutes ago - there's a lot of wind in Qingdao - they're hiking hard! It's neck and neck between the Dutch and British crews at the moment.
