MDL Royal Torbay Yacht Club Regatta - Day 1

A record 91 yachts are taking part in this year's Marina Developments' sponsored Torbay Royal Regatta which began today Monday 23 August.

With a SW force 3-4 blowing and a 2/3 metre swell rolling into the Bay, the competitors and committee boats found the conditions tough going with some of the smaller dinghies retiring after the first race of the day.

Both today's races were on Olympic courses and the results are as follows:-
