OK dinghy class 2025 Grand Slam and UK Ranking results

With the 2025 End of Season Championships upcoming this weekend and the 2025 Southern Championships at Poole YC, the first year of the UK Ranking List is now complete.

With 67 individual sailors taking part in at least one Grand Slam Ranking event and over 30 entries for the Pinnell and Bax OK End of Season Championships at Northampton SC this weekend the class in in rude health.

The overall winner of the Grand Slam Ranking series is Richard Burton from South Cerney SC with 542 points over 4 events, with Andy 'Taxi' Davis from HD Sails close behind with 536 points. Third is legendary OK builder Andy Rushworth who has staged a great comeback this season and OK Nationals winner Oli Davenport from Pinnell and Bax in fourth.

Overall the region with the biggest number of sailors competing was the Southern Region with 36 sailors, followed by the Midlands with 12 sailors, the Eastern Region with 10 sailors and Scotland and the North with 8 sailors.

Looking ahead to the End of Season Championships we have a bumper hoard of goodies to give away as prizes at the Class Dinner on the Saturday night, with prizes kindly donated by Pinnell and Bax, Ovington Boats, HD Sails and Fernhurst Books. Remember who have to be there to have a chance of winning some of the goodies!
