This ever popular family week is open to all dinghy classes and fleets will be split to ensure racing is in the morning or the afternoon so there will be still be plenty of beach time.

The event will run from Sunday 20th July until Friday 25th July.

Due to the need to exit some accommodation on Friday we have adopted Sunday to Thursday as the main event for the overall prizes sponsored by the Abersoch Boatyard, English Braids, Gill clothing, Pelle and Orca Bay who always supply a great array of prizes.

Friday will be an all-comers race for the morning fleets with a mass start at 11.00am and for the afternoon fleets at 2.00pm. A special event with separate prizes.

The coached regatta fleet is aimed at novice helms and will run from Monday to Friday and will run from 10.00am. Sailing will be just off the beach with a dedicated RYA coach.

Social activities will include music in the bar on Monday a quiz on Tuesday and the legendary Thursday party night with the very popular local band "Super Nova" rebooked for 2025.

Prize giving on Friday include overall trophies for fleets and some classes, Team prizes, Junior trophies and many endeavour prizes for all.

Racing will once again start from a Committee boat line laid in front of the Club house and courses will be adapted to suit the various fleets by the extremely competent mark layer and race officer who will undoubtedly be setting challenging racing for all.

Families and support crews are also being well looked after with viewing opportunities from the club house or the tiered decking of starts and the finishes to cheer home your teams.

Events of this type need a great raft of volunteers so we are very grateful to the many members who spend a week helping in a variety of roles. This year volunteers from several clubs in the North West are offering to help for which we are extremely grateful so If you are in Abersoch for the event and would like to help in some way water based or shore based please contact the club on arrival or perhaps send an email to .

Looking forward to seeing a good number of old faces but also we hope some new ones.
