Situated amidst the picturesque Chasewater Country Park, The Chase Sailing Club offers a perfect central location for all visitors. Its 900-hectare reservoir promises thrilling, tightly contested races against a stunning backdrop. Families are encouraged to join in and make the most of what the club and its surroundings have to offer.
With a bustling schedule for the year, The Chase Sailing Club kicked off with the GP14 2024 Midland Bell, culminating in a victory for Sam Watson and Darren Roach from Nantwich SC. Excitingly, there are additional club racing days and a lineup of amazing events throughout the year, promising an unforgettable experience for all. The 2024 Wednesday Night Series commences on April 17th, attracting a regular fleet of 30 boats vying for championship glory. Can Neil Davis and Michelle Evans replicate their success from the 2023 series?
The anticipation builds as the Phantom class returns for their open event on June 29th, promising fiercely competitive racing. Then, on September 14th and 15th, The Chase Sailing Club eagerly awaits the Lightning 368 National Championships, accompanied by the D-Zero open event. The return of the Blaze class for the inland championships on October 12th and 13th, along with the RS300 Open, ensures an action-packed weekend.
Wrapping up on December 14th is the annual Winter Polar Pursuit, a must-attend event to all skill levels. With world class sailors battling it out, it's an opportunity not to be missed. Beyond the thrill of the races, The Chase Sailing Club promises summer BBQs, live band, Prostate Cancer Awareness evenings, and good old socialising in the bar, ensuring a vibrant community atmosphere.
