The hazardous conditions warning for Monday and Tuesday has now been extended for the entire coast for Wednesday.
A high over Tasmania extends a ridge over the coastal NSW. The high dominates the coastal weather on Tuesday before moving into the Tasman Wednesday. This is followed by a cold front that brushes the southern waters. The front is forecast to move out into the Tasman leaving behind a trough in the south as the next high pressure system extends a ridge up the coast on Friday.
Where
The BOM is extending the Monday/Tuesday warning of dangerous fishing conditions into Wednesday for the entire coast. On Tuesday seas of 1 to 1.5 metres and southerly swell of 3 to 5 metres will continue. Then on Wednesday, seas will be 1 to 1.5 metres and southerly swells will be 2.5 to 4 metres.
BOM is warning that surf conditions on the entire coast will be hazardous for crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
Swell period
On all coasts swell period will be 11 to 13 seconds.

A trough is bringing a southerly change to northern NSW waters Monday. As a result, powerful and hazardous swell is expected to reach the NSW coast
Behind the change, a slow-moving high pressure system will become the dominant feature in the region through the first half of the week, with coastal winds gradually shifting northeasterly through Tuesday and Wednesday.
Another southerly change may affect southern waters during Thursday. A powerful and hazardous swell is expected to reach the NSW coast on Monday, generated by a deep low passing to the south, and may linger until Wednesday.
Where
BOM is warning of dangerous fishing conditions for the entire coast on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday there will be seas of 1.5 to 2 metres and southerly swell of 3 to 5 metres. On Tuesday, seas will be 1 to 2 metres and southerly swells will be 3 to 5 metres.
BOM is warning that surf conditions on the entire coast may be hazardous for crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
Swell period
On the Byron and Coffs coasts swell period will be 14 to 18 seconds. Swell period on other coasts will be around 12 seconds.
