Pixel sur Mer and B&G announce partnership

Pixel sur Mer and B&G®, the world's leading sailing electronics manufacturer, today announced their partnership.

An agreement to combine autopilot, controller, and display technologies from B&G® with Pixel sur Mer's autopilot expertise and technologies to develop a unique solution for the offshore, grand prix segment.

"After our longstanding relationship with Pixel sur Mer for the last 20 years it was a natural progression to formally integrate our products to provide the best performing autopilot solution to the offshore performance sailing market", said Matt Eeles - Product Director, Digital Systems of Navico Group.

"We both support the single-handed race market having supplied autopilot systems to past Vendee Globe winners and we are thrilled to provide the latest generation of foiling race boats with a solution deriving from our combined legacy and expertise in sailing electronics."

Driven from Pixel sur Mer's Exocet technology, the single system solution utilizes B&G's H5000 pilot system and integrates seamlessly with B&G pilot controllers. The one-of-a-kind system provides optimal steering performance and safe modes along with backup and failsafe settings.
