River Exe Regatta 2024 - Preview

Next year's River Exe Regatta is being hosted by Starcross Yacht Club and jointly run by Topsham and Lympstone Sailing Clubs and will be held over the weekend of July 13th and 14th for dinghies over the two days for Fast and Slow Handicap, Multihull, Asymmetric, with four races being programmed over the weekend, with one discard available.

There will be an entry limit of 110 boats across all fleets. There will be four races scheduled over the weekend for fast and slow dinghy fleets and asymmetric and multihull fleets. These two fleets will sail on separate courses, with the fast and slow handicap fleet sailing on course A and the asymmetric and multihull fleets sailing on course B.

Further posts and information about the regatta will be published at regular intervals over the coming months and so please do keep a regular lookout for updates on what's happening.

Accommodation and camping is and will be available at or near by to Starcross Yacht Club and details will again be available and published in due course.

If you would like to enjoy a great weekend in Devon and enjoy some fantastic sailing and racing on the beautiful waters of the River Exe, please do make a note of the date in your events diary for next year.

Starcross, Topsham and Lympstone sailing clubs as joint supporters of the regatta are all very much looking forward to the regatta already and equally, looking forward to welcoming you and all visitors to enjoy some great sailing and racing with us.

The day started with no wind, so the PRO ran a tug-of-war between the fleets The second Tera and Topper Open Meeting saw record-breaking attendance, with 38 boats entered from 11 different clubs.
