Oyster Yachts will be showcasing one of its most popular models - the Oyster 595 - at this season's international boat shows.

Starting at Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September), visitors can see the Oyster 595 on display at Port Canto, berth 034. At Southampton International Boat Show (15-24 September), the Oyster 595 will be on show at berth M371, allowing visitors to step aboard and have a guided tour of the yacht.

Well-proportioned and extremely versatile, the Oyster 595 is designed for fast and exhilarating sailing and can be handled effortlessly by two people thanks to its automated sailing technology, retractable bow and stern thrusters and hydraulic push-button in-mast furling. These performance features, combined with its vast interior space, and a centreboard variant option have made this luxurious go-anywhere bluewater yacht one of the most popular ever in Oyster's 50 years.

A key advantage of looking around the Oyster 595 at boat shows is the chance to go below deck and appreciate many of the technological and design features that Oyster has introduced into its award-winning range.

This includes a unique mood lighting system, which was originally developed by Oyster owner and chairman of the business Richard Hadida, for his Oyster 885 "Lush". Such was its success, that this concept has been evolved into Oyster's proprietary lighting system and is now used across the whole Oyster fleet. Four settings seamlessly alter the mood of the environment for all occasions.

The Oyster 595 is one of the first in the fleet to feature Oyster's proprietary Guardian Angel System™, which monitors the yacht's systems and performance remotely. Guardian Angel™ provides owners with the peace of mind that issues can be identified immediately, rectified or updated remotely and owners alerted as necessary.

More technological advances from Oyster include its digital switching system, Oyster Command™, an intuitive digital switching system which connects everything including entertainment, navigation, utilities, lighting and monitoring systems. Accessed via the navigation and helm stations, additional touchscreens can also be fitted into the cabins as optional extras.

Within the Oyster 595, the impressive and flexible spacious layout sleeps eight, easily accommodating family and friends, and can be configured to provide an optional crew cabin if required. Externally, there are flush aft and foredecks, wide walkways with concealed lines and high guard rails. There is plenty of space to socialise around the centre cockpit and helm position, which can be protected by a sprayhood and optional bimini. The optional superyacht style swim platform and retractable telescopic passarelle hint to the high standards aboard the 595, features usually found on much larger yachts.

Every aspect of the Oyster 595 is designed to suit the customer's individual requirements, from the choice of standard keel or retractable centreboard for access into shallow areas. The twin rudders enable finger-tip control, whilst the increased hull volume and wide beam aft enables plenty of sail power for speed when on extended passages.

The contemporary interior styling offers all the comforts of home, ensuring that living and working on board is truly pleasurable and practical. Customers can select from multiple interior layouts, and a choice of solid wood, interior colour schemes and finishing options, making it one of the most customisable 60-foot yachts on the market. The Oyster 595 on display at this season's shows features oak interiors.

Every internal detail has been carefully considered, from seating that doubles as a daybed to spacious galley with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and Quooker boiling water tap. Luxurious and spacious cabins feature ample storage space, good headroom and large en-suites with step-less showers.

Built to stringent and exacting Lloyds Register standards using high quality state-of-the-art materials and the latest production techniques, the Oyster 595 benefits from the company's years of development and research resulting in exceptional sound proofing qualities when under power. Every practicality for long-distance and bluewater cruising has been considered, including easy access to all the yacht's utilities for servicing and inspection.

In addition to Cannes Yachting Festival and Southampton International Boat Show, Oyster Yachts can be found at US Sailboat show in Annapolis (12-15 October) and Boot Dusseldorf (20-28 January 2024).
