Register now to receive optimal pricing for the 5O5 World Championship and North Americans, to be held September 23 to October 1 at St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, California. All entries made after midnight PDT on Friday, June 30, 2023, will incur a late fee.

The two-day 5O5 Pre-Worlds and North American Championship will be sailed on September 23 and 24, in advance of the World Championship. The 5O5 Worlds will run September 26 through October 1, with five days of racing and one lay day.

Planning for this regatta has been in the works for months and St. Francis Yacht Club is looking forward to hosting 5O5 sailors from around the world in the same waters as the 2013 America's Cup, recent SailGP events and the annual Rolex Big Boat Series. A racecourse is planned for the waters between Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge, which is sure to be a memorable experience for all competitors.

"Late September is truly one of the best months to visit San Francisco," says Regatta Chair Harrison Turner. "The extreme summer breezes abate, and the air temperature is typically warmer. With an event that runs over several days, we're expecting a range of conditions from champagne sailing to breeze-on afternoons."

Each day of competition will be followed by hosted evening socials in the StFYC clubhouse. "This fleet and its epic sailing style have a special place in the hearts of St. Francis members. It's great to have them back again," says Beau Vrolyk, 2023 Commodore of St. Francis Yacht Club. "This year, we are going all out to give everyone what they like to come here for: good breeze, close competition and a racecourse in the most beautiful spot on the San Francisco Bay. It'll be a beam reach to the bar!"

If you are planning to compete and participate in this legendary event, be sure to register today to avoid the late entry fee.
