Relive the best bits from Saint-Tropez

by SailGP 16 Sep 2022 06:33 BST 10-11 September 2022

The fifth event of Season 3 ended with the U.S. battling back from a shaky start to the season and claiming its first ever event win on the iconic waters of Saint-Tropez.

There was plenty of drama across the weekend, with Switzerland docked four penalty points before racing even began and teams pushed to their limits by gusts of 45 km/h on Saturday. It was a different story on Sunday, with a light and shifty breeze causing havoc to the racing schedule. A last-minute collision between France and the U.S. saw the latter team docked eight points, but it wasn’t enough to threaten its place in the Final. The U.S. went head to head with Great Britain and New Zealand, and expertly performed crucial maneuvers to claim its first ever event win

There was plenty of other drama too, including near capsizes for Denmark and Canada and a growing rivalry between the Aussies and Kiwis.

You can relive all this, and much more, with the extended highlights of the Range Rover France Sail Grand Prix.
