The Restart sailing shows started in 2020 when the pandemic first hit, with the aim of restarting sailing in a safe way.

Now as we head into 2022, with the pandemic looking likely to be an endemic by summer 2022, the new focus now moves to resetting sailing by building a firm foundation for the sport, based on grass roots, which are the clubs, classes and training.

In the latest show we:

  • Review what the Omicron variant means for sailing both club level and international fixtures
  • Talk to Tim Hire, National Champion of RS Aero 7 class which continues to go from strength to strength
  • Look at mental focus: with so many Championships coming right down to the wire, how do you achieve the winning mindset?
