McConaghy are delighted to confirm that hull #1 of their MC75 model is now in build.

Designed to offer contemporary on-water living with an apartment-like style, the MC75 is lightweight, eco-friendly and, as with all models in the McConaghy Multihull range, fully customisable.

The progressive exterior lines follow those of other models in the Multihull series, with an appealing flybridge that can be ranged forward in a more aggressive styling or extended aft for a sweeping, sleeker look.

Performing with an effortless grace even in light airs, the MC75 provides smooth sailing prowess with stability and enviable speed. In 20kts of wind at 110 true wind angle, the MC75 is predicted to reach 21kts of boat speed with a code zero sail.

The MC75 benefits from an interior design by m2atelier, in a new partnership between McConaghy and the leading Italian studio.

m2atelier identified home comforts as a fundamental feature for the MC75 and, as a result, the interior takes on a particularly apartment-like feel with a more architectural personality. The sophisticated environment offers a fantastic visual connection with the sea and great care has been taken to incorporate all interior essentials and amenities in the most aesthetic and functional way possible.

"We are honoured to have been involved in the interior design for the MC75, and to be working with such a revolutionary company - one that has made research its foundation. It is fascinating to deal with a team of leading specialists in multihull design, and McConaghy stand out for their advanced technology, construction techniques and excellent design style. We believe that innovation is always the result of much serious work, being bold and experimenting with curiosity." - Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic, m2atelier

Fully retractable windows and floor-to-ceiling glass create the perception of freedom, with an infinite amount of visual space afforded to the owner and an enhanced, symbiotic relationship between inside and out. Within, internal volume has been maximised and every space configured with distinct purpose in a layout that dispels all preconceptions of yacht interiors.

The open-plan interior can be tailor-made, with bespoke pieces that meet the client's request for convenience and versatility as well as designer aesthetic. McConaghy pride themselves on their versatile abilities, able to customise any yacht concept to suit an individual client's needs.

This first MC75 features a huge saloon lounge with a dining area and walk-around bar, a spacious aft deck with sofas and al fresco dining space, and cushioned sun pads forward of the superstructure. There are five seaward-facing berths, all en suite, as well as a crew cabin - adjacent to the galley in the port hull.

The McConaghy Multihull range has been created in collaboration with world-leading designers. The catamaran series, which ranges in size from 52ft to 115ft, features clean lines, luxurious living spaces and a modern design dynamic that simultaneously enables more comfortable cruising and better performance.

With small production runs, McConaghy's focus on quality control and their close working relationship with the client, delivers all the benefits of a full-custom build yet affords the confidence of a proven hull design and for a fraction of the cost.

MC75 hull #1 is due for delivery in autumn 2022.
