Entries are now open for Burton Week 2021, the National 12 Class Championships which includes the prestigious Burton Cup race. This race has been run since 1936.

The championships will be held at Shoreham Sailing Club in West Sussex which is a new championship venue for the Class. The first races of the four day event will begin on Friday the 27th August. Shoreham SC was part of the National series in 2019 and the Club are very much looking forward to welcoming the Twelves again. Some familiar names from the National Twelve fleet sail at the Club so know what the class likes and will make us feel at home.

Entry is now open here and make sure you note the early discount until 25th July 2021.

To help boost the growing junior end of the fleet, Junior Entry (U21) for Burton Week 2021 is just £45 for the whole event.

For non-sailors there are plenty of places of interest in the area to visit, Chichester, Worthing, Battle, Hastings, and Arundel are all within easy reach by car and some probably by bus or train.

Off the water there is the traditional Burton Dinner to look forward too, along with a beach games night and a well-stocked bar at Shoreham Sailing Club! Camping and motorhome space is available at Shoreham SC and offered on a first come first served basis, at a cost of £10 per tent/van for the event. Booking is by email to
