by Dulcie Allen, B&G 28 Aug 2020 12:00 BST 3-5 September 2020

B&G, the world's leading sailing navigation and instrument specialist is pleased to be sponsoring the Landsail Tyres J-Cup annual regatta. Hosted by Key Yachting this is an exclusive event for racing yachts of the J boats brand.

The J-Cup entails three days of exciting and competitive racing, alternating between Hamble and other fantastic locations, including Plymouth, Guernsey and Cowes. There will be a fleet of nearly 40 boats competing in 2020, a year that marks the 21st birthday of the regatta exclusive to the J Boats family. Key Yachting and the Royal Ocean Racing Club are dedicated to maintaining safety for all involved, both ashore and afloat and B&G experts will be on hand for any technical support.

Marie-Claude Heys, MD Key Yachting Ltd said "Key Yachting is thrilled and very grateful for the continuing support from B&G. B&G has never let us down whatever the "weather" and their generosity in the prize-giving has made many J Boats owners very happy over the years! Many of the boats competing are fitted with B&G and having their support on-site means a lot to them."

The event will take place from 3rd-5th September at the RORC in Cowes. B&G will be on hand to provide technical support to the competitors as well as some fantastic prizes; including branded merchandise and the new Zeus™3S 9 multifunction display. Boasting unrivalled performance, features and connectivity, designed just for sailing, the new Zeus3S chartplotter offers super-fast response times, providing all the information you need, when you need it. This easy to use display comes with B&G's unique sailing features and makes it simple to navigate, plot routes, add waypoints and see all the key sailing or racing information at the touch of a button, or screen.

Simon Conder Head of Global Brand B&G said "B&G is proud to continue sponsoring the J-CUP. We have supported the event since 2004, and it is great to see how it has developed and grown over the years, attracting more and more entrants, with a range of sailing experience. It's always a great opportunity for us to meet the sailors and get their feedback first hand on how they are using the B&G products across the fleet. It is also really good to hear their stories and of course enjoy the great racing on show."

B&G look forward to watching the race unfold live from Cowes, as well as following the updates on Facebook following @TheJCup.
