Thomas Morris has been improving his dinghies for some time now, and has shared his best tips and techniques in a series of videos.

The parts for this DIY masthead action camera mount are fairly ubiquitous and it's a little project that can be done from home during lockdown. It's cheap, and the angled joint offsets the camera so you have a great view down into the boat.

I've used it on the RS200 and RS800, but it'll fit most masts that have a track where the section is less than 5cm diameter at the mast head.

Masthead camera view is really useful in dinghies if you are self-coached. It allows sailors a great view of body movement and sail profiles. But also it's just a cool view for anyone interested in recording their sailing.
