Ancasta 31.7 Regatta on Southampton Water - Preview

by Andy Phelps 14 Jun 2006 07:32 BST 1-2 July 2006

If you own a 31.7 we would be delighted if you could join us for the Ancasta 31.7 Regatta on 1st and 2nd of July.

The regatta will focus on fun, close and competitive racing for experienced and inexperienced racers alike and is also an excellent opportunity to try racing your 31.7 for the first time.

The racing will be held in Southampton Water to provide short courses with lots of manoeuvres so it is good crew work rather than the latest sails that provides the winners.

Ancasta and UK Sails will be providing on the water coaching to get the most out of the boats and get any newcomers up to speed with the basics.

The existing race boats will have their sail inventories limited so that racers and cruisers can all race on an equal footing so the winner is the first boat across the finish line.

Send an email to contactus@317.org.uk to register your interest in attending this great event.
