Mark the date for a free sail on a catamaran. It could change your life.

The Palm Beach Sailing Club's Annual Open Day on Saturday, November 3, gives visitors the chance to visit the club and have a sail on a catamaran.

Visitors will also be able to try out the latest kayaks, pedalboards, SUP's and surfboards from The Life Aquatic in Mona Vale.

On the day members will be on the beach with their boats rigged and ready to take you out for a spin on beautiful Pittwater. Just bring your swimmers and your sense of fun.

We want everyone to come down and give it a try. The club has a policy to encourage sailors at all levels, from young beginner sailors to Grand Masters. Come out on beautiful Pittwater and enjoy sailing in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Our members range from the inexperienced to world champions and Olympic medallists and one of our members has just been awarded an MBE for services to sailing in his home country of Papua New Guinea.

There will be a BBQ at the club and the boats will be on the beach at Sand Point, Palm Beach (access via Sandy Point Lane). We will also present our Olympic medallists and world champions with honorary memberships.

Please come down and meet the members, have a sail and a sausage and some fun on the water!
