Iconic Australian luxury motor yacht builder, Riviera, in conjunction with California representative Richard Boland Yachts, will proudly showcase the sophisticated 3600 Sport Yacht and blue-water 43 Open Flybridge at the Pacific Sail and Power Boat Show in Richmond, California, opening on April 19.

Richard Boland Yachts dealer principal Richard Boland said these two luxury motor yachts embody Riviera's innovative design.

"Our team is delighted to display these models for California's motor yachting enthusiasts at the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond.

"The Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht and 43 Open Flybridge epitomise the combined commitment of Riviera and Richard Boland Yachts to fulfilling the lifestyle dreams of California's discerning motor yacht owners," said Mr Boland.

The Riviera 43 Open Flybridge incorporates great function and style within a supremely seaworthy hull.

A versatile motor yacht, she offers an extremely fishable cockpit, relaxing lifestyle design and spirited yet economical performance from Volvo Penta IPS propulsion with joystick steering controls.

Riviera's International Sales Director, Chris McCafferty, said: "Her alfresco environment includes a wide glass awning window and sliding glass door, creating a seamless transition between the expansive cockpit and contemporary leather and richly varnished timber interior.

"The main salon is both elegant and practical, with an ergonomic aft galley that is fully equipped with appliances and places the chef at the heart of social activities on board. The starboard U-shaped leather lounge surrounds a hi-lo-dining table that folds and lowers to become a coffee table or extra sleeping accommodation."

On the lower accommodation deck the master stateroom forward features a queen-sized island bed and ensuite bathroom. The full-beam midships guest stateroom features three adult-sized beds, two of which can slide together to create a double. This stateroom has private access to the second bathroom as an ensuite or can be separated for privacy to allow this bathroom to serve as the day head.

The flybridge, accessed from the cockpit via a deep-tread stair ladder, offers 360-degree vision with minimal interruption thanks to the structural hardtop canopy.

Popular power in this versatile motor yacht is via twin Volvo Penta IPS2-600 pod drives with D6 turbo diesel engines that generate up to 435hp each. With Riviera, all Volvo Penta systems, drives and electronics are covered by an industry-leading five-year limited warranty to complement the Riviera five-year structural limited warranty.

The 3600 Sport Yacht exemplifies easy living and an idyllic environment to share valuable leisure time with family and friends.

Chris McCafferty said: "She has clean lines, an open and bright interior, proven technology and a real emphasis on relaxed single-level entertaining. This is perfectly blended with Riviera's legendary sea-keeping capabilities and spirited performance."

The 3600 Sport Yacht features Riviera's hallmark rear awning window between the cockpit and the salon and aft galley to create a welcoming indoor-outdoor experience in true Australia style.

"Accommodation for the Riviera 3600 consists of a master stateroom forward with a large island bed and an aft full-beam guest stateroom with a double and single bed, catering for up to five adults on the lower deck," says Mr McCafferty.

"The 3600 Sport Yacht features easy joystick manoeuvrability which enables the skipper to simply push and twist the joystick in the required direction to make the yacht respond immediately, pivoting in place or tracking sideways into a berth that's just long enough to fit the yacht."

Power comes from Volvo Penta's D4-IPS400 system with twin D4 turbo diesel engines (2 x 221kW/300hp) and IPS10 pod-drive units. With Riviera, all Volvo Penta systems, drives and electronics are covered by an industry-leading five-year limited warranty to complement Riviera's five-year structural limited warranty.
