A Sales Assistant and Mail Order Manager are required in one of the most successful dinghy chandlers in the UK, Pinnell & Bax, is a Northampton based sail makers and clothing specialist a true 'One Stop Sailing Shop' with everything you could wish for under one roof.
Sales Assistant
- We are looking for an energetic person who can work at a fast pace, picking and packing orders to meet deadlines. This role is suited to someone who is self-motivated and a hard worker but also likes to work in a fun, relaxed environment where your efforts are appreciated.
- Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items to send to customers. Working with couriers sending parcels to both national and international locations. Stock taking and restocking as required.
- Customer service skills are a must, as you will have constant first hand interaction with our existing and potential customer base.
- You must be punctual, reliable and have a strong eye for detail. A good level of computer literacy is a must. It is important that you are physically fit and capable of standing for long periods.
Mail Order Manager:
We are looking for an energetic person who can work at a fast pace, picking and packing orders to meet deadlines. This role is suited to someone who is self-motivated and a hard worker but also likes to work in a fun, relaxed environment where your efforts are appreciated.
Experience:
- Experience of client facing activities related to selling technical products.
- Experience of selling over the telephone.
- Excellent computing skills MS office, Database management.
Personal Attributes:
- Positive and highly motivated.
- Confident negotiator with the ability to close the deal.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to generate ideas and present solutions when problem solving.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
