P&B Race Team Results!

Mike Holt & Carl Smith set out to take their third consecutive Worlds victory at the recently held SAP 505 Worlds in Weymouth.Unfortunately they had to settle for second this year!

Congratulations to Mike Martin and Adam Lowry the worthy winners. Our very own Ian Pinnell & Alex Davies, who occupied the top spot during the week finished comfortably inside the top 10, taking a very creditable sixth. P&B sails also came 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 19th & 20th, with over half of the top 20 places secured using P&B sails!

Dave Wade & Ben Rayner competed at the Fireballs Europeans held on the beautiful Lake Garda, P&B sails where dominant taking 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th overall. Congratulations to Claude and Rudi on a fantastic set of results.
Andy Mckee and Chis Massey didn’t quite manage to bag the Scorpion Nationals crown for a second year, but they were close. Going into the last race any of the top three boats could have won and just a small error at the windward mark cost them a possible race victory, and the overall title.
With most of the team getting back to reality after time away, Ian Pinnell prepares his boat for another week of sailing, this time at Fireball Nationals. Jumping back into the fleet after a long hiatus he is hoping to re-light his former winning formula as he heads to Hayling Island S.C today.
Dave will be heading off to Merlin Rockets National held in Penzance S.C. and then Mirrors Nationals at Itchenor sailing club where he hopes to retain his Nationals title sailing with his daughter, Imogen.
If you require any chandlery or spares there is still time and please come and talk to us if you need any advice on rigging or settings – we will be happy to help!
