Mike Lennon has taken a handsome win at the Moth Europeans in Bordeaux, France.

With 10 points separating Mike from second placed Chris Rashley, Mike commented, "It was a light wind regatta which probably helped the old men. I had a great first few races and, despite one blip on the results sheet, I was at the top of my game all week... for once!"

The regatta was held at the Cercle de la Voile de Bordeaux Carcans-Maubuisson (Gironde-France), at Lake Hourtin. Located in the Médoc, fifty kilometers from Bordeaux, in the Landes du Médoc, the Cercle de Voile de Bordeaux has the largest natural freshwater lake, with sandy beaches in an unique forest reserve.

Mike said "It was proper summer, sweltering heat, beautiful scenery but unfortunately not much wind". "I'm also very happy as Lennon Sails managed to dominate the Podium with Chris (Rashley) and Ben (Paton) in 2nd and 3rd respectively."
