Elliot Brown watch competition winners announced

In October and November 2015, YachtsandYachting.com partnered with award-winning British watch brand Elliot Brown and The Official Timekeeper for The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race to give two lucky new favourites subscribers Bloxworth 929-006 and 929-008 watches worth £450.

October's winner, and recipient of a Bloxworth 929-006 watch, was Mark Darling, a Flying Fifteen sailor who currently sails with Alan Bax at Hayling Island Sailing Club and finished 4th in the Worlds this year. He has also previously sailed with Ian Pinnell in the 505 class. When not racing Mark does a bit of race management, including CRO for Chichester Harbour Race Week and was also Race Officer for the 505 nationals this year.

Our November winner, and recipient of a Bloxworth 929-008 watch, is Simon Maskell. An active dinghy sailor who races a Fireball with his son and also a Solo, he regularly competes in championships and open meetings in both classes. He's been an avid reader for many years, taking a look at the website most days to keep up with what is going on, and enjoys reading the race reports for numerous classes.
