Two races were held on Saturday. A severe squall hit the fleet just prior to the start, but had blown itself out before the hooter for the off. Stewart Warden snagged something sharp as he set off for the first race and badly punctured the port tube of his dinghy. He spent the first race patching a hole in the bow. The start of the second race was delayed by a few minutes to allow him to reach the start. He was heard to be blessing the makers of Bostik as he approached the line.

Two races were enough for most sailors on Saturday. The wind chill made it very cold and sporadic rain did not help. Enthusiasm for a third race was underwhelming, so racing was called off for the day.

Sunday's wind was extremely light and a few boats were out of time in races three and five. Pity was taken by the Race Officer Elaine Ellwood during race four and all boats were allowed to complete regardless of the clock.

Perry Milton was presented with the "Jim Reely Memorial Trophy for the Most Improved Helm" by the TCOA Rear Commodore, Sandra Reely.
