ACO Musto Skiff World Championship at Fraglia Vela Riva - Lay Day

As the racing programme is on schedule today is was a lay-day here in Riva. This means that the Gala dinner was thoroughly enjoyed by the sailors and their guests and the party continued long into the small hours.
Musto Skiff sailors chose a range of relaxation activities on the lay day; some opted for further adrenaline fuelled activities such as downhill mounting biking, paragliding and via ferrata outings; whilst others enjoyed day tripping around the lake or just simply nursing a hangover.
In the evening some sailors gathered at the club just as an epic storm hit Riva; the wind and rain were at such extreme levels even the locals were surprised by the ferocity of the storm. It was too much for some of the trees which looked like they had been there for quite some time so the storm was clearly quite freak.
Incredibly the boats in the dinghy park were untouched by the winds and so the fleet is ready to roll tomorrow for 3 more races.
Well worth a watch.
