34 boats turned out for the penultimate race of the evening race series. Coming straight after Cowes Week, numbers were slightly down but those who made it were treated to a beautiful evening with a steady force 3 to 4 south westerly wind allowing all but one boat to make it home safely before sunset.
Class 1 managed a seven mile course with Claire Turner on Party coming in first beating Lightning Reflex Geoff West into second place. Class 2 saw Gary Kurth of the UKSA taking first place. In the Sonar fleet Barry Byham in Dolphin took first place with Penny Carter the first of the ISC Sonars. In Class 4 Dave Wright in Hubble Bubble enjoyed another win putting him within one point of series leader Calypso. James Meaning took first in the XOD class and David Heritage was first Flying Fifteen.
