ISAF Team Racing World Championship - Last call for entries

This is the last call for teams and individuals to enter the 2015 ISAF Team Racing World Championship, which is being hosted at Rutland Sailing Club, UK on 19-24 July.

There will be Open and Under 19 Divisions All teams compete together in the opening rounds Up to 3 teams per country are permitted in each division ISAF will, for the first time, consider entries from joint national teams Experienced British crews are available to form joint teams, if required Team race coaching in Fireflies will be available before the competition

The event website is at www.rutlandteamracing.org.uk, which has details about the event; venue; transportation connections, in addition to general team racing information. There is a Group Facebook page www.facebook.com/groups/1421214141498872 and Twitter account ISAF TR Worlds @Rutland 2015 #TRWC, which we are also using to communicate news and information.

Entries have now been received from 8 countries: Australia (2 open); Bermuda (1 open); Canada (1 open); Great Britain (3 open, 3 U19); Ireland (2 open, 1 U19); Italy (1 open); Japan (1 open) and USA (2 Open, 1 U19).

Ireland and USA are considering additional Open and U19 teams.

We are aware of sailors from Australia, Austria, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Turks & Caicos and USA, who would still like to compete in the Championship. We would be pleased to hear from other individual sailors who may be interested in joining their compatriots to form additional teams.

We are pleased to announce that HRH The Princess Royal, President of the Royal Yachting Association, will be attending the championship on Monday, 20 July.
