Exciting racing
Wednesday night's racing in the Lymington Town Sailing Club Summer Early Points series proved to be the most exciting of the competition so far.
The racing had a different format to the usual one because the low tide in the Lymington river didn't leave enough water for the crews to start at 6.30.
Race officer Robin Millidge made the decision to start the race out in the mouth of the river but even there the edges of the start line were still very shallow.
This left the crews, racing in an average 16 knots of wind, with an exciting high speed start as they all jostled for the best position.
