For the first time, racing at the 2015 RYA Youth National Championships will be live streamed and tracked by RYA partners sportsXstream and Sail Racer.

From Monday 6 April, all harbour course racing will be streamed live, with commentary from Andy Rice, directly onto the sportsXstream presentation pages here. The broadcast will go live half an hour before the first warning signal is due.

Andy Rice will be commentating all week on the exciting events on the water, and alongside him daily guest commentators will also be giving their thoughts on the racing. Rice, a successful yachtsman in his own right, has commentated on a number of major sailing events including the 505 Worlds, Extreme Sailing Series, Olympic Class World Championships and the America's Cup.

GPS tracking will be available on all courses throughout the event. Daily highlights, interviews, results and a range of race analysis features will also be posted on these class pages.

RYA Technical and Racing Services Manager, Bas Edmonds is looking forward to the collaboration: "This is a new adventure for the RYA Youth Programme. It's great to be able to take our pinnacle youth event to a much wider audience and to show how sailing can be made more accessible with our sportsXstream and SailRacer partnership."

The RYA Youth Nationals is the premier event on the youth sailing calendar, with over 370 sailors in six classes competing at the event hosted by Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. Sailors will be hoping to be crowned 2015 RYA Youth National Champion, looking for Squad and international selection places for the summer events and gaining some early season race practice.

Live streaming will start half an hour before the warning signal each day, see schedule below.
