Fernhurst Books returns to the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show

by Emma Slater, RYA 19 Feb 2015 21:08 GMT 28 February - 1 March 2015

Fernhurst Books returns to the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show after an absence of over a decade, and will be selling books, putting on author signings and re-launching their iconic 'Sail to Win' series throughout the show (28 February – 01 March, Alexandra Palace, London).

First launched in the 1980s, this ground-breaking series of practical racing guides became part of every serious racer's library, written by world class sailors and coaches of the era. It is now being re-launched for a new generation of aspiring champions, written by a fresh line-up of inspiring authors.

The first two titles being published in the new-look series are 'Helming to Win' by 'Champion of Champions' Nick Craig and 'Coach Yourself to Win' by gold medal winning coach Jon Emmett. Both will be available to buy from the Fernhurst Books stand (H10).

Nick Craig will be at the Show and signing copies of his book on Saturday and Sunday. Jon Emmett's most successful protégé, Lijia Xu – who is captured on the cover winning gold in the Laser Radial class at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and has contributed to the book – will be signing copies of Jon's book on both days of the Show as well.

Fernhurst Books' full range of 35+ dinghy titles will also be on sale at the Show.

Come along to our stand, browse our books, meet the authors and you can bag yourself a signed copy! The signing timetable is as follows:

Saturday 28 February
12.30-13.00: Tim Hore – Learn to Sail
14.30-15.30: Nick Craig – Helming to Win
15.30-16.30: Lijia Xu – Coach Yourself to Win
