This year's South East Area Enterprise series involved open meetings at 13 clubs and 73 different boats competed. The key to a good open meeting turnout remains having a good turnout from your home fleet – including some guest appearances from home club sailors who might not normally sail enterprises. Any such guests are very welcome and we hope that they will find a boat to borrow in future years as well. The number of travelling sailors remains disappointingly low with only 10 competitors travelling to at least one event beyond their home club.
Turnout was highest at Hampton with 16 boats of which 13 were from the home fleet, while the area champs at Chipstead had the most visitors (4).
