Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets decided
The first stage of the OptiWorlds Argentina 2014 schedule has finished today. The fleet was divided into three equal parts: the first third is gold, the second one is silver and the last fleet is bronze. This individual regatta continues next Tuesday.
The weather was similar to yesterday, the races started at 4pm because lack of wind and the Opti sailors stayed on the water waiting for the wind from 11am, so the day was very long.
Then they could have two races with 10 knots of wind. The Slovenian girl, Mara Turin had a great performance for both competitions and is first in overall results. She is followed by Nick Zeltner who had a very good day also.
Tomorrow the Team World Championship starts. 51 countries will compete in a qualifying round.
