Offshore at night.... in a Wayfarer?

This summer two experienced yacht and dinghy sailors (with plenty of Fastnets under their belt, including the notorious '79 stormy one) decided to sail Round Britain in a dinghy and, by being able to sleep on board overnight, see how fast they could do it.

Their first calling point after setting out from Weymouth was an incredible 250 miles away at Dale in Pembrokeshire - which included a rounding of Land's End overnight.

Their trip has been covered in various sailing publications, but the story is best told first hand, so come along and hear how they did it: Hafren's record breaking Round Britain.

Thursday 13th November at 8pm at the London Corinthian Sailing Club, Linden House, Upper Mall, Hammersmith, West London, W6 9TA. (10 mins walk from Hammersmith Tube) Bar opens at 6.30pm with fresh cooked food and snacks available.

All are welcome with no entry free but donation of £5 to RNLI/Pappa Fund requested.
