With two years to go until Rio 2016, the ISAF Sailing World Championships provided the first opportunity for countries to qualify their berths for the 2016 Games.

BBC Sport caught up with some of our seasoned campaigners and our young stars in the making in the build up to the event, and followed our fortunes throughout the Championships as the drama unfolded, with British sailors coming away with four medals and having qualified in each of the ten classes for the Rio Games.

Tune in this Saturday, 27 September from 1300-1400BST on BBC One for event highlights and the story of some of our British medal hopefuls as they progress along their road to Rio.
