Ovington Boats to exhibit at the PSP Southampton Boat Show

We have the ISAF Youth Skiff – the 29er on display – the boat has come straight from the 2014 ISAF Youth World Championship – the pinnacle of Youth sailing. The 29er is equally at home blasting around on the water as on the race track. We are now starting to see more boats in top holiday spots - Abersoch, Rock and St Mawes to name a few, as well as Sailing Centres such as Minorca Sailing. We currently have ex-charter boats from this regatta available with huge savings off new.
The VX One was launched in the UK at the Dinghy Show this year. Since then boats have been delivered around the country and raced successfully in a number of regattas including finishing 1st, 2nd and 4th at the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week. We are fortunate to have Brian Bennett, the designer of the VX One flying over for Thursday 18th through to the end of the show. The inaugural VX One UK Nationals will be held just after the Show on 26-28 September at the Royal Torbay Yacht Club. Come and join in the fun – new and used boats are now available.
We will also have the High Performance singlehanded Musto Skiff on display. The Class have recently had 58 entries to their National Championship at Stokes Bay SC. This makes it the largest turnout of any senior trapeze class – and the second largest trapeze class only behind the Ovington 29er! The class is renowned for visiting great venues both domestically and overseas – the 2014 World Championship is coming up in Perth, Australia and followed by a 2015 World Championship in Lake Garda, Italy. An event is also being planned at Minorca Sailing where they now have seven Musto Skiff's in service.
