HARKEN CLIPPER VIDEO INTERVIEW IN JAMAICA
Sean McCarter, Derry~Londonderry~Doire: "Certainly at sea I think it was probably most apparent for us during our man overboard incident in the north pacific, having eleven other boats relatively close by is very comforting. Luckily we were able to find and recover our casualty before we needed Olly Cotterell on OneDLL to assist, but he was making his way which in the back of your mind at the time is hugely comforting."
Chris Hollis, PSP Logistics: "I guess the hard thing to explain to novice crews is that things do break at sea and it's all about the maintenance. If you take these winches, even the ones that have had barely any maintenance on them, for them still to be in the condition that they're working is a huge testament to Harken, they're building a good product!"
SAIL FOR GOLD BRITISH SAILING TEAM VIDEO INTERVIEW
With Nacra 17 sailors Ben Saxton & Hannah Diamond
Hannah Diamond: "We're really excited to get a chance to race in the UK, we don't spend that much time here so it's really nice to be racing on home waters, somewhere a bit more familiar and not too far from home."
Ben Saxton: "We are working towards the worlds in a couple of months which is our big regatta this year, so we want to get quick around the course, especially upwind, especially off start lines and the leeward mark."

SPONSORSHIP NEWS
Harken announce sponsorship for Lucy Macgregor and Andrew Walsh's Olympic Campaign to Rio
Harken are delighted to announce sponsorship of the British Sailing Team's podium squad sailors Lucy Macgregor and Andrew Walsh in their Olympic campaign to Rio in their Nacra 17.
Andrew and Lucy are both members of Poole Yacht Club and have a variety of experience between them. Andrew campaigned the Tornado for Beijing and since then has been sailing Extreme 40's, recently breaking the record for the Round Hong Kong Island Race. Lucy sailed with her sister, and fellow Harken sponsored sailor, Kate Macgregor in London's 2012 Match Racing where the pair were ranked number two in the world in the lead up to the games.
When asked about becoming part of the Harken team Andrew Walsh commented, "Lucy and I are delighted to be working with Harken. They offer the best product on the market, with a great level of expertise and support to make sure we are getting the most out of our equipment in our bid for Rio 2016. The Nacra 17 is a fast and exciting boat, but therefore the loads put through the blocks and cleats can be huge, hence the reliability of Harken is so important to us...."
In confirmation of the sponsorship agreement Andy Ash-Vie, managing director of Harken UK commented "We are delighted to welcome Lucy and Andrew on board as part of the Harken Team. Supporting British sailing from the grassroots level through to Olympic classes is an integral part of what Harken is all about and we look forward to working with Andrew and Lucy every step of the way!"
