Interest is building for the 2014 Ronstan Tasar Victorian Championships to be held on the weekend of 8-10th March 2014 at Westernport Yacht Club.

The 2015 World Championships is only 10 months away (tasar2015.com) and the Victorian State Championships is an important hit out for the fleet in preparation. The Victorian fleet boasts the current Australian Champion and the last Australian World Champion(Paul and Bronwyn Ridgway), who will be trying to regain their state title. Last years championship ended up with three boats tied on points with Heather Macfarlane/Chris Payne winning from Paul and Bronwyn Ridgway and Peter Ellis/Charlotte Birbeck on count back. Competitions is expected to be closer this year, with a strong improvement throughout the fleet and the potential for interstate competitors racing.

The Tasar class is well known for its support of sailors at all levels, and this year Ronstan, as the title sponsor, will again be hosting the ever popular Ronstan half hour.

Check out the details, including Notice of Race at www.tasar.com.au/index.php/state-associations/victoria-mainmenu-55/2014-ronstan-tasar-victorian-championships and feel free to contact for more information.
