During this 3rd date of the VTR Oceánico Championship, the boats also competed in the Press Race, a traditional race where a journalist goes onboard each boat and competes as a crewmember of it. This event was defined with the first two races and the winner was "Mitsubishi", who took onboard Scarleth Cárdenas, journalist of RADIO BIOBIO / TVN.
