Contender, RS700 and Byte open at Weston Sailing Club

This coming weekend we are proud to be hosting the penultimate open event of the year at Weston Sailing Club. Over the weekend of 21/22nd September we have 6 races planned for Contenders, RS700s and Bytes.

There will be 3 races for each class each day with individual starts from the committee boat for each class to make the best use of the Southampton water race area.

The first race is planned to start at 11:30 on Saturday with registration open from 9am. There will be a briefing held at 10:30 and of course as is usual with open meetings at Weston, free camping is available on Saturday evening.

For Saturday evening meal tickets will be available at registration and this will be followed by a quiz from 7pm. Teams of 4 maximum for the quiz with the entry at just £1 per person and prizes for the winners (and losers!); it is set to be a great evening.
