Ollie Hooper from Edith Weston in Rutland and Graham Manchester from Devon, have been crowned winners five and six in the ilovesailing 2014 calendar competition.
Now at the half way stage Ollie and Graham join the previous four winners to claim a spot on the first ever ilovesailing calendar.
Ollie's shot was a real show stopper with his daring up the mast handstand, which he told us, was 60ft high!
While Graham's image entitled 'Typical Bank Holiday weather' seemed to strike-a-cord with the judges who were all too familiar with getting soaked when out on the water!
"We had a great selection of images to choose from again this month", explained ilovesailing coordinator Emma Slater. "We had 29 photos to choose from, all bringing their own 'something special' and story to tell. Ollie's image was an immediate hit with all the judges, while Graham's image battled it out with a few other shortlisted images before being crowned our second May winner."
As well as a spot on the calendar Ollie and Graham also clinched themselves their very own, and now much coveted, blue ilovesailing rubber duck as did caption entry winner David Luetchford from Southampton for his quote: "I support the RYA because it supports me! I have been a member since 1993 long before my change in career!"
Photo winner Graham commented of his win: "I'm absolutely delighted that my picture has been chosen for the calendar. It was taken while we were crossing the English Channel on board 'Emily Morgan', heading to Plymouth. It was blowing about 30 knots and Trevor, who is in the picture, was nominated to go forward to the mast to put in a reef, that's when I clinched the shot from the safety of the cabin!"
The ilovesailing calendar competition runs from March through to August 2013, with two photo and two caption winners being picked each month to appear on the 2014 calendar as well as receiving an ilovesailing rubber duckie.
All you have to do to take part is post your favourite sailing photo(s) on to the ilovesailing Facebook page www.facebook.com/ryailovesailing or email your entry to , it's that easy.
As well as the photo entries we are also asking for text entries answering either of the two statements; 'I'm an RYA member because...' or 'I support the RYA because....', in no more than 30 words.
Four winners; two photo and two caption (depending upon number of entries), will be picked each month and the winners will be announced on the ilovesailing Facebook page and contacted via email. All winners will also receive a copy of the calendar when it is completed.
The calendars will go on sale at the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2013, with the first 50 people to purchase a copy also receiving a 2013 ilovesailing rubber duck.
As well as the new calendar competition the ilovesailing page will continue to run its ever popular weekly caption competition, giving you a chance to share your funny, clever and witty captions in a bid to win an ilovesailing duck.
