A long distance race in a wet and cold westerly F3-4, developed into a series of match races, and ended in excitement with big wind shifts on the final beat.
Phil Allen in Hullabulloo2 led local couple Jill and Robin Stevenson in Cow's Rig around the leeward mark, but the shifty last beat allowed Gary Coulton in NoBull Pursuit to come through to win from third place. Phil fell to fourth behind Hayling Island heart-throb Patrick Marshall in Rampage, while Cow's Rig defended second and leads the event after 3 days.
