Insurance4dinghies sponsor F18 Nationals

Dinghy insurance provider insurance4dinghies is the main sponsor for this year's F18 Nationals and European Tour, taking place at Minnis Bay Sailing Club, Kent, from 30 August - 2 September.

This multihull sailing competition, which is also the seventh leg of a 13-strong European event, will be attended by the top F18 sailors in the UK as well as their counterparts from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Hungary and Spain.

It's anticipated around 40 boats will take part with sailors competing for trophies in 10 races, including Overall Winner, Mixed Crew and Helm, Female, Youth, Masters (crew with a combined age over 100), Club Sailor and Pro Am.

In keeping with its philosophy to support the communities it insures, this is the fifth year, insurance4dinghies has been involved.

Transitional Squad Training starts In January, I started my Transitional Squad Training. The first weekend, at Grafham Water, consisted of one day sailing, which was in light winds, and a Land Day on the Sunday, giving us information on fitness, hydration, diet and psychology.
