by Ian Jameson on 26 Apr 2012

The RS Tera Class Association is delighted to announce that for a second year Australian born clothing brand Zhik have agreed to sponsor class events. The company will be title sponsor for the 2012 National Championships and prizes sponsor for the 2012 Inland National Championships.

The Zhik RS Tera National Championships will take place at Burnham Sailing Club on 30th June and 1st July 2012 The insurance4dinghies RS Tera Inland National Championships will be hosted by Northampton Sailing Club on the 8th and 9th of September 2012.

Zhik clothing is already hugely popular in many dinghy and Olympic classes and more recently sportboat & keelboat sailors too have discovered the benefits of Zhik's innovative technologies. Partnering with the RS Tera class enables Zhik to work with the fastest growing junior class worldwide, with an entry expected to be in excess of 100 for the National Championships.

Ian Jameson, UK Class Association Chairman, "We are delighted to welcome Zhik aboard again as a key sponsor for the National Championships, we are sure it will be a tremendous event. Zhik are a natural partner for the RS Tera class, and we look forward to working with them for these championships, and other events moving forward."

The RS Tera class has seen accelerated growth in popularity over the last 5 years and is proving to be a winner with young people around the world, the class has an emphasis on fun combined with competitive sailing at an affordable cost, so it really is ability and attitude rather than money that is delivering results.
