RYA Volvo Dinghy Show 2012 this weekend - Dont miss it!

This weekend (3-4 March), Alexandra Palace, London becomes the home of all things dinghy, where clubs and classes, sailing heroes, experts, coaches, exhibitors, enthusiasts and complete beginners all get together to kick start the 2012 season.

We can exclusively announce that Olympic gold medallist and Volvo Team for Life sailor Paul Goodison will be at the show on Saturday, alongside fellow Team GB sailors Saskia Clark and Hannah Mills, who will be at the show all weekend.

Paul and the girls will be spending time getting involved in loads of different activities from coaching sessions and signing autographs to main stage talks and treasure hunts.

There will also be a whole host of winners announced including the RS Tera Design a Sail Competition winner, the crowning of the RYA Club of the Year and Volvo Champion Club winners, as well as unveiling some great new competitions including the I love Sailing Facebook competition and the Sail for Gold Good Luck card competition, you can even start designing your very own card at the show.

You'll have the chance to hear from some of dinghy sailings leading coaches and experts in the Coaching area and on the Volvo Main Stage there's a whole of host of insightful talks taking place. So if you want to brush up on your towing skills or find out more about our Olympic preparations then come along to the show.

With plenty for all the family; activities for the kids – sailing simulator, Holt Blow Boat Challenge or the Honda RYA Youth RIB Challenge computer game, and over 200 clubs, classes and exhibitors all under one roof, the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show is a show not to be missed.
