First 3 D-Ones delivered to Lymington Town Sailing Club

Three brand new Devoti D-Ones arrived at Lymington Town S.C. on Saturday, direct from the Devoti boatyard in Poland. The eager owners were soon tearing off the transport packaging and rigging their new boats, with the help of Devoti dealers, Suntouched Sailboats of Hayling Island.

The D-One has many great selling points, including the ability to pack everything neatly inside the boat for transport, leaving just one item, the boat in its top and bottom covers, to be loaded onto the trailer.

By lunchtime, everyone was ready to get out on the water and after a naming and launching ceremony, involving a Formula One style spraying of champagne; all three boats took to the water in bright sunshine and a pleasant light breeze.

A D-One open meeting at Lymington is planned for later in the year and the fleet should establish itself rapidly from such a great beginning.
