Edition 24 of Rick Tomlinson's award winning Calendars are now available

The 2012 pictures include the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo, the Volvo Ocean Race, Cowes Week and the Rolex Fastnet Race, Olympic sailor Ben Ainslie, plus other action and art from around the world. One special image this year is a night shot from the top of Drumbeat's 60 meter tall mast, where Rick spent over an hour waiting to get the light just right.

Rick personally selects all the photographs for the calendars using the criteria of 'action and art'. Each picture is chosen so it can be on the wall for a whole month and still offer something new, something that might not have been apparent on the first glance.

There are two calendars in the range:

  • the A2-sized Portfolio Wall Calendar: £15.95 plus p&p.
  • the practical free standing Desk Calendar 25 x 15cm £5.75 plus p&p.
Each calendar contains a different selection of pictures.

All the calendar pages can be viewed and ordered online at www.rick-tomlinson.com. Company branded calendars are also available.

Rick Tomlinson was recently awarded the Inmarsat Pioneer of Media Award at the Volvo Legends Regatta in Alicante. He raced in 4 Whitbread Races, onboard Drum, The Card, Intrum Justitia and Team EF where he was commissioned by National Geographic. It was this work that inspired the position of media crewmember in the modern Volvo Ocean Race.
