SailLaser Berlin opened on the Strandbad Wannsee on the River Havel on Saturday 30th April 2011. The sunshine shone all day and there was plenty of wind for visitors to get on the water and try sailing in SailLaser’s fleet of boats.
SailLaser Berlin welcomed many visitors to the centre on the Standbad Wannsee over the weekend of Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May. Many of the visitors are already sailors and were really excited to see this new facility open “on their doorsteps”. Others visitors booked tuition for their children and enquired about SailLaser’s JustSail membership package.
JustSail is a great way to enjoy dinghy sailing and provides all the benefits of owning a fleet of small sailboats. JustSail membership ensures reserved access to the entire SailLaser fleet of LaserPerformance dinghies at a time to suit you, as often as you want. When you return ashore from your days sailing, simply drop the sails and hand the boat over to one of the SailLaser team members to pack up. SailLaser take care of repair, maintenance, storage, and insurance of the boats, leaving you to enjoy sailing. JustSail offers a great “stepping stone” from your first sailing experience to owning a boat of your own.
The try sailing opportunity offered by SailLaser Berlin was enjoyed by all, including the newly recruited instructors! Several of the instructors work at various other sailing schools but they were all impressed with the LaserPerformance boats. Everyone returned ashore after their try sailing session with a smile on their faces. A great measure of success!
SailLaser Berlin will offer the complete SailLaser package; a sailing school, JustSail membership and the sale of the full range of LaserPerformance boats, spares and accessories will be available. SailLaser Berlin’s sailing school and JustSail programme will enjoy a large fleet of Lasers, Laser Picos, Laser Vagos, Laser Bahias, Laser 2000s, Dart 16, Bugs and the new Vapor Optimist.
