Tamesis Club Merlin Rocket Travellers Series 2011 - Preview

by Chris Balmbro 27 Dec 2010 06:22 GMT 2 January - 27 February 2011

The Tamesis Club Merlin Rocket Travellers Series, sponsored by Rowsell Sails, begins on 2nd January 2011 with the first race start at 10:30 followed by the second, longer format, race at 11:15. The series runs through until 27th February 2011 and consists of 2 races every Sunday with 12 results required to qualify from the 18 races scheduled.

The Travellers Series is open to both Tamesis Merlins and visitors – the cost to visitors is £45 per boat for the series or £2 a race (mooring only available for boats entered for the full series). So, whether you’re a river-wiggler or an open water maestro, get the covers off your Merlin and come down to Teddington on 2nd January and be part of what should be the biggest fleet of Merlins racing this winter. With Tammy's excellent lunches and stunning new bar, the off-the-water action is as notable as that on the river.
